John Kusnier Returns back to MSG!

MSG is pleased to announce the return of John Kusnier as Director of Natural Resources. John spent 21 years with MSG and spent the last seven years consulting with Davey Resources Group. We are glad to have him return to our Geoenvironmental Group, where he will help us continue to pursue a host of ecological restoration and green infrastructure projects for the benefit of our clients. John is well-suited to this role in large part because of his multi-decade experience at MSG pursuing and performing ecological work. Women's Transportation Seminar

Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) Northwest Ohio forming chapter is hosting a talk on the US Department of Transportation Smart Cities Mobility grant on Thursday, June 28, at El Vaquero in Perrysburg, Ohio. Networking at 5:30 PM and speakers Marie Keister and Katie Ott Zehnder speak at 6 PM. One Professional Development Hour (PDH) certificate will be provided. The WTS Northwest Ohio forming chapter is continuing to work on meeting the 20 paid member requirement to becoming an official chapter. Mending Tiny Hearts

We’re honored to once again be a sponsor of the 5th and final Mending Tiny Hearts Golf Outing, which took place June 1 at the Sylvania County Club. Ohio Storm Water Conference May 9 - 11

Today we will be presenting at the Ohio Stormwater Conference on Dredge Material: a Solution to Restore Toledo’s Cullen Park Bay. Learn how the City of Toledo and its project partners employed Healthy Lake Erie funding to use our state’s abundant dredge material to design coastal wetlands, create important habitat, develop passive and active recreational opportunities, improve water quality, and, connect the bay to the adjacent successful transformation of Cullen Park. Join us on Saturday, May 12 for the 2018 American Heart Association Heart Walk

Join us on Saturday, May 12, for the 2018 Heart Walk and 5K Run, presented by the American Heart Association, Toledo Northwest Ohio Division, with MSG as a sponsor. Our team, along with thousands of other participants, will gather at the Huntington Center, 500 Jefferson Avenue, in downtown Toledo for this healthy living and family-friendly event. The  5K run will begin at 8:30 am and the ceremony and walk will begin at 9 am. Adam's + Haley's Run Cleanup in Akron, Ohio

MSG was happy to have the opportunity to volunteer at Western Reserve Land Conservancy’s annual Adam’s + Haley’s Run Cleanup in Akron, OH this past Saturday. Volunteers gathered numerous bags of litter found within the restored stream and surrounding wetlands and floodplain. MSG Completes PFAS Investigations!

PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkly Substances) are a broad range of man-made chemicals, usually resulting from commercial and industrial applications, that can be found in the ground, water and air. The problem with PFAS is that they are endocrine blocking or endocrine disrupting chemicals and they don’t rapidly degrade within the human body.  MSG has been on the forefront in completing PFAS investigations, which include sampling, testing and evaluations. Ronald McDonald House Tour

Several Maumee office staff members had the opportunity to visit and tour the Ronald McDonald House last week.  Located on the campus of ProMedica Toledo Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House serves 1,200 families each year and is the 2018 Community Engagement Initiative organization chosen by Maumee employees. The newly constructed “house” has twenty-two private bedrooms and bathrooms, a spacious kitchen with well-stocked pantries, family-friendly dining and living rooms, children’s play area, laundry facilities, playground, and secure parking. Families can stay as long as their children are receiving medical care. And, they can return as often as needed for follow-up care. Families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House are truly...
