Toledo, Ohio Area

Landfill Engineer
Candidate should be a degreed engineer with extensive experience in landfill design, permitting and construction oversight. This position would include completing landfill permit-to-install drawings, construction plan and specification preparation, and construction quality assurance monitoring and certification. This position will also be responsible for coordinating work between Project Managers and engineering staff. Candidate should also have a working knowledge of the OAC regulations. Geotechnical engineering experience a plus, including developing subsurface investigation and laboratory testing programs, geotechnical analyses including bearing capacity, settlement and slope stability, and the preparation of various geotechnical reports.


Columbus, Ohio Area

Resident Project Representative
Applicant must be experienced in municipal public works inspections, CA and specialized in (CMT) Construction Materials Testing for pavement, water and sewer construction. Individual must be self-motivated and have excellent communication/correspondence skills and be versed in current MSOffice Software applications and spreadsheets. CMT certifications of ACI, ICC, NICET, Nuclear Density Gauge and Autocad skills a plus. Knowledge and fluency with ODOT and City of Columbus Construction and Material Specification Manuals a plus.

Detroit, Michigan Area

Roadway Designer/Technician
2 - 10 years experience in the design engineering and plan preparation of roadway systems, including: geometric design, pavement design, maintenance of traffic design, traffic signals, signing & pavement marking and hydraulic/drainage design involved in roadway engineering. Experience with MDOT roadway design, MicroStation, CADD standards/sheet layout and specifications required. Familiarity with FHWA and AASHTO desirable.

MSG desires a self-motivated person who desires to expand their technical experience and be an instrumental component of a design team. The position may require occasional field work.

Sr. Field Technician
Candidate should have demonstrated experience in roadway construction field activities with the overall responsibility that the project is built to specs. Duties include leading on-site inspectors and material testers; completion and submission of daily reports; verification of materials; coordinating efforts between contractor, engineer and owner; overseeing and verifying material change request process. Strong MDOT construction background, previous Fieldbook exp., willingness to travel during the week to job sites throughout SE MI, and excellent communication skills are desired. Optional Monroe office location.
