MSG Sponsors Young Racer From Monroe, Michigan

The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) will return as an associate sponsor for Jeff Myers Jr. Racing in 2014. The firm’s sponsorship continues the community trend of supporting a young racer’s dream of a professional motorsports career.

Myers father, Jeff Myers Sr., a project manager at MSG states "I feel very fortunate to be an employee of MSG — the company and staff have been huge supporters of my son and my family for the past 10 years. MSG has always given me the time off to travel when my son was racing go-karts on the national circuit across the country. In 2014, we're looking forward to racing across the Midwest with the ARCA Truck Series."

The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Truck Series is a Midwest-based, 12-race touring series. For additional information regarding the ARCA Truck Series, visit www.arcatruckracing.com. The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) joins the distinguished ranks of the 2014 Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 500 Design Firms in the nation — rising to number 383 from last year's 413 ranking. ENR is a respected construction industry voice with a firm grip on the market.

ENR's Top 500 issue, published annually, evaluates engineering, architectural and environmental design firms based on revenue. MSG — a full service consulting firm providing civil, transportation and geotechnical engineering, along with environmental consulting, surveying, landscape architecture, cultural resource services and construction support — offers its array of services from the firm's offices located throughout Ohio and Michigan. MSG will celebrate 60 years of service in 2015, undoubtedly continuing on the firm's well-engineered path of being a single source asset to their valued clients.

"Success in the current market is not something that can be taken for granted. We want our clients to be taken care of beyond their expectations, always aiming to create added value at each stage of their project — from the planning phase to completion. Our continued rise on ENR's Top 500 is evident that MSG is doing just that," states Richard Bertz, PE, PS — President and CEO of MSG.

Today, MSG's technically sound staff is an energetic, robust team of more than 200 professionals delivering integrated planning, skillful design, practical engineering and resourceful construction solutions. "Our clients lend us the opportunity to do what we do; our desire to serve and aid them in regard to their success solidifies the success of MSG," Bertz adds.
